U.S. emergency agency FEMA extends former Michael Brown's contract despite Katrina criticism: "Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff on yesterday defended the Federal Emergency Management Agency's decision to extend former director Michael Brown's post-resignation employment by another 30 days."
