Yes, We are HOME

After a quite lovely thanksgiving dinner where nobody yelled or threw anything, and a GREAT reunion with friends I hadn't seen in ages, we have finally made it home. The folks at the Manchester Airport had a very rough time dealing with hundreds of people who were stuck. The Southwest reps. had the worst of it, as many of their Florida and Baltimore flights were grounded. Of course, people didn't understand that it was a weather problem and blamed the airline reps, screaming and yelling at them.

Although the Manchester people got us on an earlier flight to Philly, the outbound to National was oversold, so we spent 4 hours at the airport. The GOOD news is that when I pulled out my laptop, I noticed a wireless signal. When I brought up a web browser, it brought me to an AT&T website that offered access for 9.99 for a 24 hour period (or other fees for longer time periods, etc. etc.). I signed up, and had access for the time we were stuck. Not so bad at all.

Sleeping in one's own bed with one's own pillow and one's own husband (grin) is a wonderful thing.
