The Psycho Sensei is Moved

I have no idea why it is that I have had more power outages in Metropolitan Washington, DC than anywhere else in the world I have ever lived or visited. But when we had the nasty windstorm yesterday I could have bet the farm that we would have yet another one.

So last night I was on the telephone to Grandmaster Choi when the power outage hit. I called him back from the one non electric phone in the house and apologized for the abrupt cut off to the conversation, and told him what happened. About 1/2 an hour later, Master Choi's daughter called and said she and her mom were on the way over. I told them this was not a good idea. It was windy and miserable outside and they needed to stay in. They insisted.

Next thing I know, they had brought us a gas powered hot plate with gas canisters, and more bulgogi, kimchee and rice than could feed an entire army. They wanted to make sure we had enough to eat through our horrible 5 hour ordeal. I'll tell you, we were about to book the dogs (heh heh....sarcasm alert). Anyway, I thought that was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for us. *sniff sniff*

Psycho Sensei is moved. :-)
