Project Censored
A quite interesting project has published its results today. Project Censored has published its top 25 "under reported" stories. Given who owns the major media outlets, it isn't too difficult to figure out that they would definitely wish to maintain the status quo and keep their privileged positions as information receivers to the government, and the rich and powerful interests.
Each story listed contains various sources where publication occurred, and the story then kind of just.....was ignored.
The stories included The Neoconservative Plan for Global Dominance , Homeland Security Threatens Civil Liberty, and Closing Access to Information Technology . Well worth the reads.
